About this deal

The documentary proper follows the chronological history of the franchise by way of film clips and interviews with just about anybody who had anything to do with Halloween and its successors, from Carpenter, producer Debra Hill and star Jamie Lee Curtis to a few of the folks behind the unfortunate Halloween: Resurrection, the last release in the series to date. I was impressed by the collection of interesting documentaries and interviews over the four discs and having a remastered copy to replace my outdated VHS copy is very satisfying. The documentary does get a little bogged down at times in showing clips of the movie, but the interviews are quite wonderful to see.

A fine documentary about the franchise (the first 8 movies) and interviews with people who work on those movies.

It examines why the films are so popular and revisits many of the original locations used in the films - seeing the effects on the local community. Intensely driven, he overcame personal and professional challenges to secure his place amongst the greatest vocalists in history. Not just covering the production stories, or the fan base, or some other aspect exclusively -- but it's really a full-orbit "all-things-Halloween" documentary.

This was a documentary produced for the series' 25th anniversary and covers the franchise up till Resurrection. essentially from H3 onward, in my opinion, I was nevertheless equally intrigued with the stories and info on the later films of the series, which I think speaks to the quality of the show's craft. It’s the only franchise spanning documentary I’m aware of so it’s nice to have if you have everything else. The most delightful element of this thing, however, is seeing plenty of vintage stills and 'making of' footage from the shoot, which will be of great interest to any fan. The bonus features contains many panel discussions, so if you love those, you will appreciate the second disc from this set.For the first time, cast, crew, critics and fans join together in the ultimate 'Halloween' retrospective.

Man erfährt hier einiges an Hintergrundwissen und den Eindrücken unterschiedlichster Personen die an der Reihe beteiligt waren.I have been a fan of Halloween since first seeing it many years ago and being truly scared by what I saw. Bestselling Author and award-winning Filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza expose widespread, coordinated voter fraud in the 2020 election, sufficient to change the overall outcome. It truly stands at the head of a long list of films that tried to copy, but ultimately didn't quite achieve the standard.

Halloween: A Cut Above The Rest, a documentary about the making of Halloween on disc 2, plus On Location 25 Years Later and trailers, T V and radio spots. Video evidence, obtained from official surveillance cameras installed by the states themselves, confirms the geotracking evidence.Ranjit, a farmer in India, takes on the fight of his life when he demands justice for his 13-year-old daughter, the victim of a brutal gang rape. With Zombie preparing his entry for, one presumes, a 2007 release, Halloween’s legacy will obviously extend beyond 25 years (and already has, if you want to nitpick). While there's likely to be a fair amount of information contained herein that die hard fans already know, 'A Cut Above the Rest' does work nicely as a primer on all things "Halloween".
